Job Specification
- Specific duties and responsibilities will entail assisting in: –
- Offloading, weighing, hooking and tipping of green leaf;
- Opening and spreading of green leaf on to the troughs;
- Attending to the fun to ensure reduced leaf moisture content;
- Discharging of the withered tea;
- Manning the fermentation and drying process;
- Sorting and grading of dried tea;
- Binning of graded tea;
- Packaging and dispatching of graded tea;
- Stocking the boiler and handling firewood; and
- Cleaning of the PPEs and ironing.
Person Specifications
- For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:
- Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (Mean Grade D plain); Certificate in food science lasting not less than six (6) months; and
- Proficiency in computer applications skills.
