Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health, social, and emotional needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Crisis Intervention: Offer support and intervention during crisis situations, including emergency counseling and stabilization services.
• Case Management: Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, community resources, and social services to ensure clients receive comprehensive support.
• Advocacy: Advocate for clients’ needs and rights, assisting them in accessing resources, benefits, and services.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatment progress, interventions, and outcomes.
• Education and Support: Provide education to clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.

Qualifications:

• LISW License: Must hold a current and valid Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) license in the state of South Carolina.
• Experience: Previous experience in clinical social work or mental health settings preferred.
• Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Documentation: Proficiency in maintaining accurate and confidential records.
