Summary: The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing personal, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns, as well as payroll tax returns. This role requires experience working in public accounting or a corporate tax department, and candidates will serve as trusted partners to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and large family groups. Responsibilities:
- Prepare personal, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate tax returns.
- Complete federal and multi-state income tax returns.
- Act as liaison for high-net-worth individuals and family groups for tax-related matters.
- Prepare state and federal payroll tax returns.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments.
- 3+ years of tax preparation experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Occasional travel required.
- Associate-level position with no management experience necessary.
