Job: Store Manager (Luxury Bakery/Coffee Shop)
Location: Madison Avenue, NYC
Salary: up to $80,000 per annum

We are looking for a talented and experienced Store Manager for our eagerly awaited new opening Boulangerie-Patisserie and coffee shop in prime Upper East’s Madison Avenue fufiling the need of every household craving exceptional quality, by delivering simple, elegant hand-crafted bread, pastries and desserts.
You will oversee day-to-day shop operations, ensuring exceptional service, cleanliness, and organization. Lead a team of employees, maintain communication with the broader leadership, and collaborate with the offsite production facility. Implement menu changes, track inventory, and drive the shop’s financial performance while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, staff scheduling, inventory, and financial tracking.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in both service and back-of-house areas.
- Drive revenue and control costs by analyzing P&L statements, managing labor, inventory, and food costs.
- Handle guest and employee concerns with prompt and effective resolutions.
- Coordinate closely with Executive Pastry Chef and Head Baker to address special orders and requests.
- Train staff on SOPs, menu items, and customer service standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory, adjust par levels, and place replenishment orders as needed.
- Lead team meetings, promote a positive work environment, and address performance through coaching and feedback.
Key Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience overseeing food & beverage operations in a luxury retail/hospitality setting. Coffee Shop/Bakery preferred.
- Strong understanding of P&L management, labor costing, and inventory control.
- Proven ability to lead a team, develop training materials, and enforce operational standards.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene protocols, and operational compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and other business software.
- NYC Food Protection Certificate required.
- Flexible with working hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
