Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Assistant Controller, contributing to the preparation and integrity of financial records. Partner with the Assistant Controller on accounting and financial functions
Compile and review financial data for reporting and accuracy
Prepare, evaluate, and support the creation of analyses to support financial/business plans, budget, and forecasts
Manages and/or implements related policies, procedures, and controls for both existing and new processes relevant to accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related areas
Maintain general ledger, journal integrity and balance sheet reconciliations
Assure compliance with all company reporting and tax requirements, including accounts with tax agencies regarding unemployment, sales tax, payroll permits, etc.
Implement/improve budgeting and forecasting systems and processes
Process Payroll
