We are searching for meticulous, diligent, and self-motivated individuals who thrive in a dynamic, high-growth setting. The Financial Accountant (FA) will play a pivotal role within our Accounting and Finance Department, contributing significantly to our financial accounting and reporting operations. The FA is essential to the company’s month-end close process and overall financial operations.In this role, you will establish, implement, and uphold best practices in accounting and financial reporting, covering areas such as account reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, expense report approvals, and month-end close activities. You’ll oversee Accounts Payable, ensuring prompt invoice processing with vendors and internal partners. Success requires keeping abreast of financial regulations, engaging in educational opportunities, and networking within the industry.### Key Responsibilities
– Manage the accounts payable process, including vendor communications and accurate invoice coding in the general ledger.
– Contribute significantly to the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations and analyzing monthly trends.
– Record prepaid expenses, fixed and intangible assets, other assets, and various accruals.
– Perform treasury functions, including cash reconciliation and vendor payment preparation.
– Assist in preparing documentation for the year-end audit.
– Engage in department or cross-functional projects and initiatives.
– Identify opportunities to improve processes and design new methods for data capture and reporting.
– Continuously refine and enhance month-end close and financial reporting procedures, aiming to shorten the close timeline through streamlined activities.### Qualifications
– 2-4+ years of experience in corporate finance management and public accounting (Big 4 experience is a plus).
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
– CPA certification preferred.
– Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
– In-depth knowledge of GAAP and experience in software.
– Demonstrated ownership of tasks, with the ability to strategize and motivate others to meet deliverables.
– Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, capable of building effective relationships across all organizational levels.### Additional Information
