Join Jaykay Medical Staffing as a Registered Nurse (RN) and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. As an RN, you will assess, plan, and implement patient care plans, coordinate with healthcare teams, and provide compassionate support to patients and their families. Your clinical expertise and commitment to patient care will be essential in improving health outcomes and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and manage patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to support recovery and wellness.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and patient progress.
- Leadership: Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs, providing guidance and support in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies with appropriate interventions and support.
Qualifications:
- RN License: Must hold a current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky, Kansas, West Virginia, or the state where you will be working.
- CPR/BLS Certification: Current certification in CPR or BLS required. ACLS certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred. Specialty experience in areas such as ICU or ER is beneficial.
- Skills: Excellent communication, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
