HR Assistant- Internship Operations Coordinator

Que Technology Group is a small, minority-owned IT company based in Baltimore, MD. We have an internship program that is ongoing until graduation. This position is an HR Assistant position with a focus on overseeing our internship program.We provide real-world work experience to college students of all majors. The goal of the internship program is to serve as a bridge between the IT field and college students, while providing them opportunities to grow their skillset and receive mentoring guidance from the team.As a part-time employee, we offer great perks, such as flexible hours between Monday-Friday, and company-sponsored events.If you are looking for a great team to work with, and a place where you can utilize your skills and expand your skillset, QTG is the place for you!Review the description below, and if this sounds like you, let us know!Internship Operations Coordinator Responsibilities:The Internship Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Internship Program. Duties include, but are not limited to:Taking the lead on ensuring the Internship Program is running smoothly and meeting strategic goalsCollaborating with Internship Administrative Coordinator on management dutiesCollaborating with different departments in the company to generate intern tasking and to see how the internship program may be able to support those departmentsMaintaining intern databases, Microsoft Teams site and other platforms used for the internship programMonitoring intern performance to ensure they are meeting all internship requirements and staying in complianceCollecting and analyzing feedback from the interns to brainstorm and plan new activities and initiativesServing as a coordinator between College Career Centers, Senior Staff, and Intern Alumni for internship initiativesEnsuring all interns have meaningful and relevant work from week to week; gathering information on interns’ personal interests and incorporating that into the internship programAssisting with sourcing and recruitment of interns as neededPlanning intern team events and outings to increase intern engagement and create meaningful one-on-one relationships between the interns and the teamCollaborating with the Internship Administrative Coordinator and Human Resources Department to brainstorm new internship initiatives, and to provide ongoing support to current initiatives by participating in weekly meetingsFormalizing Internship processes by way of creating Standard Operating Procedure documentsOverseeing Intern-Alumni Networking LinkedIn groupOverseeing the production of the Company Quarterly NewsletterCompleting onboarding for new hiresAssisting the Human Resources Department as neededSkills/Abilities:Strong leadership and coaching skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in a team settingExperience in working with college students and alumni is a plusExceptional time management and organization skillsExceptional attention to detailTakes initiative in all situations, both in working independently and in a team settingFast learner who can easily adapt to new situations and learn new skillsOpen minded and creative thinker who will contribute new ideas to continue to grow internship programFamiliarity with Microsoft Office365 (Excel Online, Word Online, Outlook, Teams, Powerpoint, etc.)Position Information:$15.00/hour15 hours per weekFlexible hours Mon-FriLocation: Remote work – Must have a permanent home address in the states of MD or GACandidates must meet the following requirements:Must have a permanent address in a HubZone area and must provide address verification documentsMeet 15-hour per week commitment60 hours per month requirementMeet weekly report deadlines by 5pm each FridaySubmit timesheets by due date on a bi-weekly basisWe would love to have you join our family!
