This individual analyzes and records expenses in support of the business unit finance and project management functions, performs balance sheet reconciliations, and participates in other ad hoc projects.
- Performs analyses of the firm’s direct and indirect operating expenses, actual to budget cost variances, and cost trends of basic complexity to verify that revenues and expenses and related financial data are appropriately recorded in the general ledger.
- Prepares asset, liability, expense, and capital account journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Assists in the fixed asset process of gathering and reviewing support, ensuring compliance, and processing in the subledger.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Performs other duties as required.
