You’ll be part of a team tasked with developing an application from concept to implementation working side-by-side with our product teams on real world production applications. You’ll have the opportunity to work first hand with several technologies and programming languages. As an intern at Entegral, you’ll be responsible for creating innovative business solutions for real world problems.Internship position will be a hybrid of remote and onsite at Entegral’s office location in Madison, Wisconsin.Entegral is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce.The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in New York.Hourly rate: $25/hourResponsibilities

  • Interpret requirements to create custom applications
  • Develop prototypes and perform application programming
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Ability to identify and creatively resolve problems
  • Develop an understanding of Entegral’s business environment, agile culture and structure to support work initiatives

Entegral’s Technical Environment Includes:

  • Java and Object-Oriented Application Development
  • Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Agile Methodology
  • U/I Development (Angular, HTML, CSS)
  • RESTful Web Services
  • MySQL/NoSQL (Mongo) database environments

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • At Minimum, graduated high school or GED equivalent
  • Must be enrolled full time as a rising senior (for Summer of 2025) or credit equivalent at University of Wisconsin- Madison
  • Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems majors
  • Must plan to be in the Madison area for the majority of the summer and be available to report to our office at 2323 Crossroads Dr, two days per week
  • For hybrid/work from home days, reliable high speed Internet connection and dedicated workspace are required
  • Must be available for full 12-week internship program and available Monday- Friday (40 hours/week) May 19th- August 8th 2025
  • Must have completed following courses with satisfactory grades:
  • CS200: Programming I
  • CS300: Programming II
  • CS400: Programming III
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0
  • Must have educational exposure to object- oriented design (Java preferred)

Preferred:

  • Relational database knowledge
  • SQL knowledge
  • Previous Internship, Capstone, or Co-Op experience
  • CS506: Software Engineering
  • CS352: Digital System Fundamentals
  • CS577: Introduction to Algorithms
