Responsibilities:Our paid accounting internship will offer 1 Sr. Accounting Major the opportunity to build finance and accounting knowledge, specific to the hospital industry, by working closely with a team of finance and accounting professionals, and assisting in performing various functions, such as daily financial operations tasks as well as special projects that support the improvement of our revenue cycle management.The accounting intern will have the opportunity to assist in the following:
- Monthly financial close process with timely completion
- Preparing journal entries & ledger reconciliation
- Working independently on specific assigned tasks, including inventory control measures
- HR/Payroll software transition/implementation

Requirements:The candidate will be a current Senior Accounting Major, currently attending an accredited University, in good academic standing. Must provide academic references. This position is SAFETY SENSITIVE and is required to work onsite. Hours are negotiable, between Mon-Friday, 8am -5 pm.
