Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Internship

Work Schedule :This position is 75% – 100% FTE while intern is finishing program, and will increase to 100% FTE, 40 hours per week, after graduation through the remainder of the internship.Be part of something remarkableCome provide remarkable care to our tiniest patients.We are seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Intern to:

  • Work at both American Family Children’s Hospital and Meriter Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the last semester of either a master’s or doctorate neonatal nurse practitioner program.
  • Deliver care to neonates and their families in a learning environment, under the immediate and direct supervision of another nurse practitioner or physician.
  • Demonstrate and participate in medical/nursing clinical knowledge, communication and interdisciplinary collaboration, professionalism and systems-based practice in caring for your patients and families.

Education :
Minimum – Enrollment in a Master of Science in Nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice graduate program with a focus on neonatology. Must be in the last semester of the graduate program.Licenses and Certifications :Minimum – Active RN license in State of WI.
